Riyadh (UrduPoint / WAM / WAM – 18 March 2026) The official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, announced that a ballistic missile launched towards Al-Kharj Governorate was intercepted and destroyed, and its fragments fell in the vicinity of Prince Sultan Air Base without causing any damage.
Major General Al-Maliki said that six drones were intercepted and destroyed in the eastern region.
