In his message on the occasion of Eid, the Prime Minister said that Muslims express their gratitude to God Almighty on this blessed day who gave them the joy of Eid after the special worship held during the month of Ramadan.
He called on God to accept the prayers of the believers and give them the strength to apply Islamic values in their practical lives.
The Prime Minister said that Eid al-Fitr symbolizes God’s promise of reward after patience and perseverance, while renewing the spirit of sacrifice, unity, service to humanity and collective responsibility.
He stressed that as a nation, it was necessary to engage the weaker sections of society in the joy of Eid and ensure that they also participate in the celebrations.
Highlighting the government’s efforts during Ramadan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the digital wallet system has been successfully implemented to provide generous financial assistance to vulnerable sections of society, adding that mutual cooperation and collective responsibility are the key to national progress and prosperity.
In reference to the humanitarian situation in Gaza and other areas affected by the conflict in middle In the east, the Prime Minister said that even on the happy occasion of Eid, the hearts of the Pakistani people remained sad due to the suffering of those affected.
He said that the ongoing crises were a reminder of the urgent need for greater unity within the Islamic nation to promote justice, dignity and lasting peace.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan, as a country, prays for peace, security and stability across the world and expressed hope that the auspicious moments of Eid will reinforce the values of world peace, justice, tolerance and brotherhood.
He also called for this holiday to deepen the spirit of brotherhood among the Islamic nation and enable humanity to work together for the common good.
