KARACHI (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – 20 March, 2026) Sindh Governor Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Digital Media Fahad Haroon at the Governor’s Residence here on Friday.
They discussed the current state of digital media, effective promotion of government initiatives and positive use of social media platforms.
Fahad Haroon congratulated Muhammad Nihal Hashmi on assuming the position of Governor of Sindh.
“Digital media plays a key role in providing accurate and timely information to the public,” the Sindh Governor said.
“Providing youth with digital skills and strengthening the IT sector is the need of the hour,” he added.
Fahd Haroun briefed the governor on the situation Federalism Government digital media initiatives and ongoing projects.
“The government’s narrative is being communicated to the public in an effective, transparent and timely manner,” said Fahd Haroun.
They also discussed anti-fake news and promoting responsible journalism.
They agreed to highlight public issues through digital media and accelerate their resolution.
