Lahore (APP – Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – 20 Mar, 2026) Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, on Friday evening, made a phone call with Bangladesh Prime Minister Tariq Rahman to exchange Eid al-Fitr greetings and discuss bilateral and regional matters.
During the warm and cordial conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz conveyed Eid al-Fitr greetings to Prime Minister Rahman and the brotherly people of Bangladesh.
Recalling the long-standing fraternal and historical relations between them Pakistan and Bangladesh, the Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with Bangladesh in all fields.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional developments in South Asia and the situation in the region middle east. They stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve tensions and conflicts.
He warmly congratulated Prime Minister Abdul Rahman on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr and conveyed his good wishes to the people of Pakistan.
The two leaders also expressed their determination to continue working together in the coming days to achieve the common goals of regional and global peace and stability.
