Sukkur (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – 21 March 2026) People of northern Sindh celebrated Eid al-Fitr on Saturday with patriotic fervor. Believers gather in mosques, holidays, and open squares in cities, towns, and villages to perform the Eid prayer in the morning.
There were dozens of small and large gatherings in Sukku, Khairpur, Ghotki, Jacobabad, Kashmore-Kandkot, Shikarpur and Noushahrofroz, with strict security arrangements in place.
A large gathering was held in the main Eid Gah area of Sukkur. Mayor Advocate Arsalan, Deputy Mayor Dr Arshad Mughal, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Nadir Shehzad Khan, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Socor Azhar Khan Mughal and other officers also performed Eid prayers under one roof.
Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Khursheed Ahmad Shah and Sindh Assembly Speaker Syed Owais Qadir Shah also performed Eid prayers at Shah House Sukkur.
In Khairpur, the biggest Eid the prayer The gathering was held at Jami Siddique Akbar Mosque, where Muhammad Javed Shah and others also offered prayers.
Meanwhile, prominent politician and social leader Barrister Syed Shafqat Ali Shah performed Eid prayers at Karachi.
Large gatherings were also held on the feast of Jah Yaqubad.
The Central Imam Burj in Shikarpur witnessed similar enthusiasm and enthusiasm, as devotees from neighboring areas also attended the prayers.
In Ghotki, Eid prayers were held in small and large mosques and open squares. Likewise, large Eid gatherings were held at the Nevşehir Firuz and Candiaro University Mosques.
