Matin Plaza is sealed to the Commissioners of Warrants

Karachi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30 March 2026) Mateen Plaza has been closed on the Commissionerate Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi orders not to implement fire safety measures.

According to a press release issued by the Commissioner’s Office, an earlier meeting chaired by Commissioner Karachi reviewed the safety audit survey of major commercial and government/private buildings and decided to close commercial buildings that do not comply with fire safety rules.

The commissioner ordered the deputy commissioners to warn building owners and associations to follow fire safety rules and in case the warning is repeated, they should be shut down for not following the rules.
