Regional Transport Authority Secretary Amit Narwani informed Karachi Commissioner that 896 passengers were overloaded in the last three days.
The administration took action and returned 1,028,000 to passengers. Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi issued directions to the Deputy Commissioners and PTA Secretary to ensure strict implementation.
He directed bus operators to display fare details clearly on buses and stations, and for officials to take action against those who exaggerate prices. Complaint offices will be set up at bus stations to address fare-related issues.
