Hyderabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30 March 2026) Under the effective supervision, dynamic leadership and overall strategy of SSP Hyderabad Shazib Chachar, the Women and Child Facilitation Center and the Human Rights Cell carried out extensive operations against professional beggars, human trafficking and forced labor elements across the region.
A systematic and successful operation was carried out under the direct supervision of SSP Hyderabad within the limits of Qasimabad, Cantt and Bhittai Nagar police stations.
The aim of the operation was to eliminate organized networks of professional beggars and to suppress elements involved in exploiting the weaker sectors of society.
Public information was also used effectively during the process, leading to the precise identification of professional elements.
During the operation, the elderly were released after strict warnings, while the children were provided with immediate protection and handed over to the Child Protection Unit to ensure their rehabilitation and care.
On instructions from SSP Hyderabad, a large number of professional beggars were arrested and further investigations were initiated. Strict action will be taken against the elements involved in accordance with the law.
It should be noted that this is the fourth major operation during the month of March, which reflects the continuous vigilance and effective strategy of the police. 182 beggars have been arrested so far, including 53 people who were arrested during today’s operation.
Meanwhile, SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar reiterated his resolve to take indiscriminate action against any kind of exploitation, professional begging networks and human trafficking in the region so that a safe and dignified society can be created.
Hyderabad Police appealed to the public to fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying such elements so that this threat can be eliminated.
