The day witnessed a lively display of unity and devotion as believers thronged the “mosques” and opened the way for Eid al-Fitr prayers, followed by prayers for the prosperity of the country and the unity of the Islamic nation.
As usual, families gathered to exchange Eid greetings, visit relatives, and enjoy traditional sweets.
The children were especially happy because they received fresh food currency Notes from the elderly, many wore new clothes and shoes to celebrate the occasion.
The district administration took additional measures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
1122 rescue services were provided to provide immediate assistance in emergency situations, while police implemented strict security protocols throughout the provinces.
Special attention was paid to curbing dangerous practices such as aerial firing, one-wheel drive and use of firecrackers to ensure a peaceful celebration.
Deputy Commissioner Abdul Nasir Khan and District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan Ziauddin Ahmed participated in Eid prayers at Ijaz Shaheed Police Lines along with his fellow officers and police officers.
After the prayer, they congratulated the policemen on Eid, praising their efforts in maintaining order and ensuring that the celebrations proceeded peacefully.
He also praised the police forces for their success in preventing shooting from the air and suppressing rioters, which ensured peaceful Eid celebrations throughout the region.
