DPM Dar speaks with the Turkish Foreign Minister and stresses the urgent need to reduce the escalation

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18 March 2026) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar spoke yesterday evening with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and discussed the evolving regional situation and expressed their deep concern over the growing tensions.

During the conversation, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed the urgent need for de-escalation, according to a press release issued by the Foreign Ministry spokesman on Wednesday.

He also stressed that constructive dialogue and diplomacy remain the only effective means to resolve issues and promote peace and stability in the region.
