Rawalpindi, March 20, 2026 Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Farhan Aslam has issued important directions on duty arrangements on Chand Raat and Eid al-Fitr, focusing on strict monitoring and performance-based rewards for employees to keep traffic flowing smoothly.
He announced that officers and officials who showed outstanding performance during Chand Raat and Eid would receive rewards and certificates of appreciation. The performance of all employees will be closely monitored throughout the holidays, the CTO said.
Farhan Aslam stressed that officials who ensure smooth flow of traffic and provide immediate assistance to road users will be fully encouraged and appreciated.
He added that the aim of these incentives is to raise morale and enhance the culture of service efficiency.
The CTO also warned that while good performance is rewarded, carelessness and negligence will lead to departmental action.
He urged all traffic officers to serve the public with full dedication during the Eid holiday and ensure maximum facilities for citizens by maintaining traffic flow throughout the city.
