Peshawar, March 25, 2026 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – March 25, 2026) Police on Wednesday confirmed that a policeman who was kidnapped the previous day from the limits of Gomal Police Station in Tank Mitta area has been found.
Police said that unidentified gunmen kidnapped the policeman, identified as Rehan Baloch, from Sheikh Atar Adda.
His body was later recovered near the Gomal Canal.
Rescue personnel transported 1,122 bodies to the regional headquarters hospital. Police said that Rehan Baloch was on vacation and on his way home when he was kidnapped.
The police opened an investigation into the incident.
