Mirpur (AJK) , (UrduPoint / Pakistan a point news – March 17, 2026) A senior figure in the Pakistan People’s Party in the United Kingdom congratulated Pakistani President, Asif Ali Zardari, on completing two years in office.
In a statement issued to the media, PPP Vice President for the Northern Region of the United Kingdom, Chaudhry Kamran Manzoor, praised Zardari’s role in promoting democracy, upholding the constitution and strengthening state institutions during his tenure.
He said that the PPP constantly defends democratic values, citizens’ rights and the unity of the federation, adding that the party has become more organized under Zardari’s leadership.
Manzoor described the president as a “farsighted” leader who supported democratic continuity during difficult periods and contributed to political stability in the country.
He added that overseas Pakistanis remain committed to the development of the country and stand by the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party.
The statement concluded by praying for Zardari’s health and continued success in serving Pakistan and its democratic system.
