
The Anti-Terrorism Court on Thursday rejected the bail requests of three workers of the banned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Labaik, in a case involving allegations of arson, sabotage and attacks on police.
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) April 2, 2026 An anti-terrorism court on Thursday rejected the bail applications of three workers of the banned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Labbaik in a case involving allegations of arson, sabotage and attacks on police.
Judge Shahid Sikander announced the ruling after hearing the arguments of both parties.
The court rejected interim bail for the accused, Shehzad Alam, who requested a pre-arrest exemption for fear of arrest. However, the accused left the courtroom before the decision was announced.
The court also rejected the bail petitions submitted after the arrest of Maqsood Ahmed and Mehran.
The accused were involved in acts of violence against police officers and incidents of arson and vandalism. The case was registered at Bhikhi police station, Sheikhupura.
