
Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves increased to US$21,789.6 million as of March 27, 2026, while reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan increased to US$16,381 million.
KARACHI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – April 2, 2026) Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves rose to US$21,789.6 million as of March 27, 2026, while reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan rose to US$16,381 million.
“During the week ending March 27, 2026, foreign exchange reserves at the State Bank of Pakistan increased by US$6 million to reach US$16,381.7 million,” the central bank said on Thursday in its weekly statement on the position of liquid foreign reserves.
At the same time, net foreign reserves at commercial banks rose to $5,407.9 million, according to the breakdown of foreign exchange reserves, an increase of $47.7 million during the period under review.
Pakistan’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves in the previous week ending March 19, 2026 were $21,736 million. Among them, the State Bank of Pakistan holds foreign exchange reserves amounting to $16,375.8 million, while commercial banks hold $5,360.2 million.
