Murad Ali Shah said that Pakistan today stands strong under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while the country’s armed forces remain fully alert under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. “The enemy cannot even cast an evil glance at Pakistan,” he said.

The Prime Minister stressed that Pakistan needs to follow the guiding principles of unity, faith and discipline as laid down by Quaid-e-Azam. “In light of the prevailing situation in the region, we must remain united and overcome our differences to defend Pakistan,” he said.

Murad Ali Shah also expressed concern over regional tensions, condemned the aggression against Iran and praised the Pakistani army’s operations against terrorist hideouts in Afghanistan.

Highlighting the importance of the Quaid-e-Azam’s Directive Principles, the Prime Minister said that if the nation fails to follow the principle of unity, it will harm Pakistan. “We must act in accordance with the first principle of the Quaid-e-Azam, which is unity, otherwise this will harm the country,” he said.

The Prime Minister further stressed that the younger generation should be aware of Quaid-e-Azam’s ideology and vision so that Pakistan can move towards economic and social stability.
