Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, on Tuesday directed all relevant authorities to maintain strict control over supply chains to ensure uninterrupted availability of fuel and protect the interests of consumers.
ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17 March, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, on Tuesday directed all relevant authorities to maintain strict control over supply chains to ensure uninterrupted availability of fuel and protect the interests of consumers.
The Deputy Prime Minister chaired a meeting on petroleum in which he reviewed the current fuel stock conditions and expressed his satisfaction with the supply levels news He said release.
He also advised the Ministry of Petroleum and relevant departments to closely monitor market movements and strengthen coordination mechanisms so that fuel supplies remain stable across the country.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Petroleum, the Minister of Climate Change, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, the Minister of ICT, the Ministers of Petroleum and IT, and other senior government officials from relevant ministries and departments.
