ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th March, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday seriously noted the deteriorating law and order situation in parts of Gilgit-Baltistan, especially Skardu, where violent protests have caused widespread damage to public and private infrastructure and disrupted normal life.

He stated that peaceful protest is a constitutional right, but it must be exercised within the framework of the law and within the powers of the presidency news He said release.
