Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11 March 2026) Vice Chancellor (VC) Federalism Urdu The University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) has received the Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari Award, in recognition of his global academic excellence, as he is among the world’s top 2% scholars.
The award was presented by the Higher Education Commission Pakistan (HEC) in a prestigious ceremony held at its headquarters where Chairman Dr. Niaz Ahmed honored Dr. Zapta Khan Shinwari.
Speaking during the ceremony, Dr. Shinwari thanked the HEC Chairman for appreciating the academic contributions of the scholars. He said that recognizing the services of academics is a positive step that encourages young researchers to continue excellence in scientific research and scholarship.
The Vice Chancellor stressed that research and quality education They remain the main paths of progress of nations and take their place among modern and developed societies.
He also urged young faculty members and researchers to uphold professional integrity and ethical standards in their academic and research activities.
