According to an FIA spokesperson on Friday, the suspects were identified as Sunil James and Muhammad Ashfaq and were arrested from different areas of Lahore during a crackdown by the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Department.
The spokesperson said that Sunil James had extorted Rs 8 lakh.
6 million from a citizen with his promise to arrange a work visa for Canada.
Similarly, Muhammad Ashfaq received Rs700,000 from another national to send him to Cambodia.
However, the victim sent to Cambodia was deported to Pakistan By Cambodian immigration authorities after his hotel reservation turned out to be fake.
The spokesman added that the two suspects were detained and further investigations were opened.
