PESHAWAR (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – 16th March, 2026) A terrorist attack on a police station in Nasir Bagh police station area was foiled here on Monday after security personnel responded immediately.
According to the police, the terrorists tried to target Sakhi Pul police station under the cover of darkness.
However, the elements deployed at the site responded immediately and effectively, forcing the attackers to flee the scene. No injuries were reported.
Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a massive search operation to track down the fleeing suspects.
Police across the city have been put on high alert and security measures have been tightened to prevent any untoward incident.
Police authorities said that all available resources were being used to maintain law and order and bring the attackers to justice.
