Peshawar, April 7, 2026 Pakistani oil and gas company MOL BV has officially handed over two advanced and fully equipped ambulances to Hangu and Karak districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This initiative forms a core component of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and aims to strengthen emergency medical response and improve access to healthcare across the province.

During the event, Mr. Ali Murtada Abbas, Regional Vice President of MOL Group, officially handed over the keys of the ambulance to the regional authorities in the presence of senior government officials and company representatives.

The newly introduced ambulances aim to fill critical gaps in responsive medical care for underserved areas, and enable residents of remote areas of Hangu and Karak to access basic healthcare facilities during the “golden hour” for medical emergencies.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ikramullah Khan, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said: “Reliable emergency transportation is often the deciding factor in saving lives. We appreciate this contribution from MOL Pakistan, as it directly addresses a pressing need within our healthcare network. This collaboration provides a strong example of how the private sector aligns with the government’s priorities to uplift local communities.”

Mr. Ali Murtaza Abbas, Regional Vice President, MOL Group, added: “Our presence in any region is defined by the positive footprint we leave behind. By strengthening the healthcare infrastructure in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, we are fulfilling our responsibility as a trusted energy partner. The health and safety of our host communities remains as important as our operations.”

Mr. Zsolt Adam Laszlo, CEO of MOL Pakistan, said that for the company, these ambulances symbolize a deep-rooted partnership with the people of Hangu and Karak.

“We are not just providing equipment, we are strengthening a vital safety net for the communities we serve,” he said, adding that MOL Pakistan remains committed to sustainable social investments that create tangible, long-term improvements in quality of life.

MOL Pakistan, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Hungary-based MOL Group, has been an integral part of Pakistan’s energy sector since 1999.

The company has working interests in several major blocks and operates the TAL and Margalla blocks.
