Divisional Commissioner Raja Jehangir Anwar along with Deputy Commissioner Captain (Retd) Nadeem Nasir visited the park while the Director General (Director General) Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, PHA Managing Director Dilawar Khan, Development Director Asif Chauhan and Municipal Corporation CEO Murtaza Malik were also present on the occasion.
During the visit, the governor of the region directed the preparation of a comprehensive plan to improve the linear park, including extensive gardening works and the development of separate areas for sports and recreational activities.
He instructed officials to establish the practice Cricket game Playgrounds, badminton court, walking track and other facilities to make the park more attractive and useful to the public.
He also directed care to plant trees and install aesthetically designed sculptures that enhance the aesthetics of the garden.
He directed the horticulture agency to prepare and submit a detailed plan as soon as possible to start rehabilitation work without delay.
He said that providing high-quality recreational and sports facilities to citizens was among the most important priorities of the district administration.
He added that a comprehensive campaign is already underway to improve the condition of parks across the city and equip them with modern facilities.
He expressed his hope that the role of rehabilitating and beautifying the park would not only provide a healthy recreational environment for citizens, but would also promote sports activities among young people.
The Deputy Commissioner and other officials also reviewed the available space and discussed various proposals to transform the linear park into a modern and well-maintained recreational facility for the residents of the area.
