He added that the Islamic nation is going through a period of deep sadness and anxiety after the recent developments related to Iran.
Addressing the Pakistan Consolidation Conference in Minhaj al-Hussain administration in Johar city here on Saturday, he said that the current situation requires collective wisdom and self-restraint rather than emotional decisions, as hostile forces are trying to create divisions among Islamic countries. Ashrafi said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif held a detailed telephone conversation with the Iranian president, while he met with foreign ministers of countries including Türkiye. Egypt Saudi Arabia was visiting Pakistan to explore a peaceful solution to the situation. He stressed that protecting the Two Holy Mosques is a matter of faith for every Muslim, adding that any harm to these holy places cannot be tolerated. He also expressed his concern about the situation in the region, including Lebanon, and described reports that Eid prayers would not be held at Al-Aqsa Mosque as very unfortunate.
Ashrafi said that Pakistan’s speech remains an important national speech that promotes unity and consensus, and urged the leadership of Islamic countries to meet in Mecca to develop a common strategy against the emerging challenges.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohtashim Administrator of Minhaj Al-Hussain Muhammad Hussain Akbar said that unity among believers is a divine blessing, warning that hostile forces are trying to divide the Islamic nation. He stressed that aggression against any Islamic country must be considered an attack on the entire nation, adding that strengthening Pakistan would contribute to the strength of the Islamic world as a whole.
