Peshawar, March 13, 2026 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi strongly condemned the explosion that targeted a police vehicle in Lakki Marwat tribal district.
The governor expressed his deep regret and sadness over the martyrdom of six police officers, including the police station officer, in the incident.
He expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and said that the sacrifices of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police to bring peace in the country will always be remembered.
Governor Conde said such cowardly acts of terrorism cannot weaken the nation’s resolve. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured police officer.
He stressed that the sacrifices of the police and security forces will not be in vain, and that the collective struggle against terrorism will continue until it is completely eliminated.
The governor also called for raising the ranks of the martyrs and giving patience to their families.
