Lahore, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11 March 2026) Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Uzma Bukhari said that the courage, courage and determination of Hazrat Ali (may God be pleased with him) is immortal and unparalleled, and his teachings continue to serve as a guiding light for humanity.
In her message on the occasion of Ali (may God be pleased with him) Day, she said that the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace) described Hazrat Ali (may God be pleased with him) as the “gateway to the city of knowledge”, highlighting his immense wisdom and intellectual stature in Islamic history.
Uzma Bukhari said that the life of Hazrat Ali (may God be pleased with him) offers countless lessons to humanity, adding that even at the moment of his martyrdom he gave priority to the prayerWhich reflects his high moral and spiritual character.
The district minister said foolproof security arrangements have been made across the district on the occasion of Day of Ali (RA).
She added that the officers and personnel of Punjab Police are fully vigilant and are performing their duties with dedication to ensure the security of processions and mourning gatherings so that the mourners remain safe from any potential threat.
She further said that all processions would conclude before sunset prayers and appealed to the public to cooperate with the police and administration to help maintain law and order.
Uzma Bukhari stressed that the Punjab government and security institutions are fully active and committed to ensuring the safety of citizens and maintaining peace through all possible measures.
