Rawalpindi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd March, 2026) On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, the Murree control room has been fully operational to ensure uninterrupted public service during the Eid holidays.
The control room operates in the presence of representatives from all relevant departments to address public complaints and emergency situations without delay. The initiative aims to provide immediate relief to residents and tourists visiting the area during Eid.
Officials said that an effective system has been put in place to register complaints on the spot and refer them to relevant departments for prompt action, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Representatives of Punjab Police, Rescue 1122, Health Department, Traffic Police, Municipal Corporation, Highways Department and other key institutions were deployed in the control room, enabling strong inter-departmental coordination.
Under this coordinated mechanism, issues related to traffic flow, medical emergencies, sanitation, water supply and road maintenance are addressed efficiently.
In view of the expected influx of tourists during Eid, the importance of the control room has increased. The authorities also provide timely guidance to visitors and ensure immediate assistance in case of any inconvenience.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the staff to treat every complaint seriously, ensure prompt response, and provide maximum comfort to the public. This initiative reflects the region’s administration’s commitment to effective governance and public-friendly policies.
