Sargodha (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4 April, 2026) Sargodha Divisional Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Saturday toured different parts of the city after the recent rains to assess the sanitation situation.
The Commissioner, accompanied by the Director General of WASA, Abubakar Imran, visited low-lying areas, main roads and major squares where rainwater had accumulated, directing staff to ensure prompt drainage and keep machinery running.
Hafiz Shaukat Ali stressed that relief for citizens is the top priority and warned that any neglect will not be tolerated. He asked field teams to remain vigilant and take immediate action on public complaints.
The officials briefed the commissioner, saying that all available resources have been deployed to drain the water as its levels are already low in several locations.
The Commissioner reiterated that the district administration and WASA would continue coordinated efforts to resolve rain-related issues across the city without delay.
