Peshawar (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6 March 2026) Commissioner Kohat Syed Mutasim Billah Shah on Friday assured representatives of the Young Doctors and Paramedics Association that their professional concerns would be addressed on priority to improve healthcare services in the region.
This confirmation came during a meeting held to discuss the challenges facing hospitals, including issues related to staff facilities and service delivery.
District Health Officer Dr Syed Gul Saeed, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information Shafi Jan, Ehsanullah Jan and Salman Shinwari were also present on the occasion.
The delegation highlighted various operational issues in hospitals and urged the management to take immediate steps to resolve them to ensure smooth functioning of health facilities.
Responding to the concerns, Commissioner Shah directed the authorities concerned to take swift action and emphasized that providing quality healthcare services to the public remains a top priority of the government.
Later, the Commissioner met with students and staff of Agush Service School. In his speech on this occasion, he advised students to focus on it educationMaintain discipline and make effective use of their time.
He also praised the dedication schoolAnd the teachers and employees of the Foundation for their role in educating orphaned and disadvantaged children, and he affirmed his full support for the Foundation.
