Bahawalpur (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21 March 2026) Commissioner Bahawalpur Masrat Jabin Division visited several social care institutions across the region to share Eid celebrations with children and patients.
Borstal visited Bahawalpur Juvenile Jail, where she was accompanied by Directorate of Prisons Qazi Aslam, Superintendent Mansoor Akbar Soomro, Deputy Commissioner Syed Hasan Raza and Assistant Commissioner (City) Khalil Ahmed.
On this occasion, clothes, shoes and sweets were distributed to the juvenile inmates, while officials interacted with them and encouraged them.
Later, the Commissioner visited Bahawal Victoria Hospital, where she inquired about patients in the emergency department and distributed sweets to share the festive spirit.
In the Child Protection and Welfare Office, a special holiday party was held.
The commissioner cut the candy bar with the children and distributed gifts among them. Assistant Commissioner Hamza Ehtesham also attended the ceremony.
The visits reflected the administration’s efforts to include children in care homes and the sick in Eid celebrations, with an emphasis on compassion and community support on this occasion.
