Faisalabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6 March 2026) Deputy Commissioner Captain (retd) Nadeem Nasir made surprise visits to mosques and imams in different parts of the district, before the start of Friday prayers.
He inspected the security measures taken by the district administration around mosques and imams.
He particularly inspected the entry and exit points at the central Imambarga area of Dhobi Ghat.
The governor directed the concerned authorities to be cautious, as all available capabilities are being exploited to achieve security in the region.
He also ordered the officer to monitor the suspects and take appropriate legal action immediately if any suspicious activity is detected.
He said that protecting the lives and property of citizens is the priority of the Punjab government.
