Dera Ismail Khan (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 13th Mar, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Daraban conducted an inspection tour in Zafarabad and Chota Bazar on Friday to ensure implementation of the provincial government’s directives on… price Supervision and market regulations.
During the visit, many shop owners were found charging fees Prices Higher than officially advertised prices, failure to prominently display the government price list, and maintaining unsatisfactory sanitation conditions. Legal action was taken against the violators immediately.
According to officials, a fine of Rs 4,000 was imposed for overcharging, while a fine of Rs 2,000 was imposed for not displaying the official price list. Another fine of Rs 2,000 was imposed due to poor hygiene arrangements.
In total, fines amounting to Rs 8,000 were collected during the inspection.
Shop owners have been warned to strictly adhere to officially announced prices, display the price list prominently, and ensure proper hygiene standards, otherwise strict legal action will be taken against them.
