Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21 March 2026) Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a phone call today, Saturday, with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Bahrain On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
During the warm and friendly conversation, the Prime Minister expressed his warmest congratulations and blessings to His Majesty the King and to the brotherly people of Bahrain on the occasion of Eid.
His Majesty the King exchanged these friendly feelings. The two leaders called for unity and harmony within the ranks of the Islamic nation.
The Prime Minister renewed his strong condemnation of the ongoing hostilities in the region, especially the attacks carried out against Bahrain.
He expressed his deep condolences for the precious lives and those injured in the attacks on Bahrain.
While appreciating the patience and restraint shown by Bahrain, Shehbaz Sharif affirmed Pakistan’s solidarity and support for Bahrain and its people during these difficult times.
The Prime Minister also briefed the King of Bahrain on Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach efforts aimed at restoring peace in the region.
He confirmed this to the King of Bahrain Pakistan It will continue to support all diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the ongoing hostilities.
The two leaders agreed to remain in close contact on bilateral and regional issues.
