Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – March 6, 2026) Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday expressed his deep concern over the recent attack targeting the sister country of Turkey, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Turkish people.
In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said that he has joined the people Pakistan In expressing their full solidarity with their “brave Turkish brothers and sisters” during this difficult time.
He described such attacks as reprehensible, and warned that such actions threaten further escalation and could undermine regional peace and stability.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called for maximum restraint and stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy to support respect for sovereignty and maintain peace and stability in the region. He also conveyed his message while addressing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
