KARACHI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 5 March 2026) Sindh Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transport Sharjeel Inam Memon said that plans are being made to rehabilitate Karachi Circular railway, while extensive work is underway to improve roads and infrastructure in Karachi.
He said in a statement on Thursday that the Yellow Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, which aims to improve the transportation system, is moving towards rapid completion.
He said that road construction in different areas of Karachi has either been completed or is still ongoing in some areas.
He said that various highway construction and rehabilitation projects are also being implemented, in addition to constructing bridges and tunnels and improving the sewage network.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that economic activities are being enhanced through development and promotion of industrial areas a job Activities and improvements in infrastructure.
