Mirpur (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th Mar, 2026) A delegation of lawyers from the Bhimber District Bar Association on Friday met with Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan and expressed their deep gratitude for his efforts in facilitating the establishment of the Bhimber Judicial Complex, describing the move as an important step towards strengthening the judicial infrastructure in the region. The delegation, headed by the head of the Bar Association, Chaudhry Gulzar Ahmed, a lawyer, and the Secretary-General, Chaudhry Habib Aslam, also met with the chief justice of the court. Moreover, the delegation extended its heartfelt congratulations to Justice Khalid Yousuf Chowdhury on his recent appointment as Judge of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir High Court. The visiting lawyers enthusiastically expressed their best wishes for his tenure, expressing confidence that his distinguished experience and professional integrity would further strengthen the judiciary in the region.
Finally, the delegation reiterated its appreciation for the wise and commendable initiatives taken by the Chief Justice to improve the system of administration of justice in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
