The decision was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by Mirpur Divisional Commissioner Raja Tahir Mumtaz Khan on Friday, where officials reviewed the increasing crowding in markets during the holy month of Ramadan. Meanwhile, the meeting directed law enforcement authorities and municipalities to immediately initiate coordinated operations to remove encroachments from roads, sidewalks and commercial areas.
