In his speech during the inauguration ceremony, the minister said that the campaign will focus on registering new students, bringing out-of-school children to classrooms, and reducing dropout rates throughout the governorate.
He said that the government has set a goal of enrolling 1,328,620 children for the 2026-2027 school year, adding that all available resources will be used to achieve the goal and ensure that every child receives a quality education.
Chief Secretary Shihab Ali Shah stressed the importance of coordinating efforts by all relevant departments to make the campaign a success and ensure maximum enrollment in public schools.
A digital dashboard has also been created to monitor the progress of the registration drive, enabling authorities to track admissions and performance in real-time across different areas of the province.
Officials said the initiative reflects the provincial government’s commitment to promoting education and ensuring that no child is left behind in accessing learning opportunities.
