Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Karim on Friday honored Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Khalid Mehmood on his retirement from service during a farewell meeting held at the Central Police Office.

Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 13 March 2026) Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Karim on Friday honored Deputy Inspector of Police Khalid Mehmood on the occasion of his retirement from service during a farewell meeting held at the Central Police Office.

On this occasion, the Punjab Police presented him with an honorary shield, a letter of thanks and a cash award in appreciation of his services to the Punjab Police.

DIG-I Sulaiman Sultan Rana Foundation also presented a shield and a bouquet of flowers to DSP Khalid Mahmood.

Senior police officers expressed their appreciation for his professional contributions and congratulated him on completing his term of service with honor, wishing him success in his future life.

Speaking on the occasion, IGP Abdul Karim said that the retired officers and personnel of Punjab Police were valuable assets to the administration and their services would always be remembered.

He said that Khaled Mahmoud performed his professional responsibilities with dedication, honesty and commitment throughout his career.

DSP Khalid Mahmoud thanked the IGP and other senior officers for their guidance and support during his service and said that serving in the police department was a source of great pride for him.
