Hyderabad suffered two early setbacks as Al Zarri dismissed Joseph Saim Ayub for eight in the first over and removed Abrar Ahmed Moaz Sadaqat for nothing in the next over. Usman Khan also fell to Abrar in the sixth over after making 14 runs, leaving Hyderabad struggling at 35 for three.
Their woes deepened when Usman Tariq removed Syed Saad Ali on the last ball of the ninth ball and skipper Marnus Labuschagne fell to Saud Shakeel four deliveries later for 23 with Hyderabad reeling at 57 for five in 9.4 overs.

Hasan, who brought up his 10th T20 half-century and also 2,000 T20 runs, ran out 53 off 40 balls leaving Quetta 128 for six in 15.5 overs.
Tom Curran’s late attack, which yielded 31 off 18 balls including three sixes, a single and a four, lifted Quetta to the competitive total. Abrar hit four balls in the final over to score decisively with nine off three balls.
