Bahawalpur (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6 March 2026) Free Urdu Artificial Intelligence Workshop 2026 was organized at the Islamic University Bahawalpur (IUB), focusing on the balanced integration of social sciences and artificial intelligence.

The academic session brought together faculty members and senior scientists who discussed the increasing role of artificial intelligence in education And research.

In her opening remarks, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Rubina Bhatti, highlighted that in the modern era, artificial intelligence can open up new dimensions of research and teaching in the social sciences when used responsibly and creatively. She stressed that universities should organize such training programs regularly to help teachers and researchers adapt to emerging technologies.

The workshop was held under the patronage and approval of the University’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, which reflects the university’s leadership’s commitment to promoting modern technology and scientific innovation through practical initiatives.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Department of Applied Psychology, Bahawalpur Muslim University. It was coordinated by the Head of the Department of Applied Psychology, Professor Dr. Muhammad Saleem, in cooperation with the representative of Urdu AI, Mr. Muhammad Zeeshan.

During the workshop, participants were introduced to practical examples demonstrating how modern AI tools can be used effectively in teaching, research, academic writing, and data analysis. Speakers also stressed the importance of maintaining ethical principles and academic integrity while using AI in academia.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the participants expressed their hope that such academic and training initiatives will have an important role in enhancing digital skills, improving the quality of research, and improving modern educational practices in universities.
