FJWU leads national mock trial competition

Rawalpindi (UrduPoint / Pakistan) April 2, 2026 Fatima Jinnah Women’s University (FJWU) has bagged first place in the National Mock Trial Competition 2026, beating 48 teams from leading universities across Pakistan.

The FJWU team demonstrated strong legal vision, persuasive advocacy and courtroom skills to achieve a decisive victory in the final round. Their performance was recognized for clarity of arguments, confidence and professional approach, according to a press release issued Thursday.

The winning team included Hajar Sati and Eman Waheed as lawyers, while Sania Zahoor and Mohamed Adel acted as witnesses.

The FJWU Vice President congratulated the team, saying the success highlighted the talent, hard work and determination of the students. She added that the university remains committed to providing young women with the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to excel in professional fields.

The university’s official spokesman said that this achievement reflects the university’s focus on academic excellence and practical legal training that aims to develop competent professionals.

The university administration, faculty and students also congratulated the team on this achievement, describing it as a proud moment for the institution.
