Rawalpindi (UrduPoint / Pakistan) April 6, 2026 Continuing the anti-drug campaign, Rawalpindi police arrested five drug dealers and four other suspects, and confiscated more than 8 kg of hashish, 10 liters of alcoholic beverages, illegal weapons and ammunition in separate operations.
According to a police spokesperson, raids were carried out in Wah Cantt, Naseerabad, Kallar Sidan, Berwaday, Damial and Rata Amaral areas, leading to arrests and recovery of money.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused, while investigations are still ongoing.
Police officials stressed that operations against drug trafficking, supply of alcoholic beverages and illicit weapons will continue indiscriminately.
