According to officials, the FIA’s Interpol successfully extradited 81 fugitives from different countries during the year. These individuals were wanted by the Pakistani authorities in various criminal cases and were handed over to the relevant law enforcement agencies upon their return to Pakistan.
In addition to the renditions, 12 suspects were intercepted at Pakistani airports and issued with Interpol Red Notices at the request of Pakistani law enforcement agencies. The individuals were arrested upon arrival and handed over to the competent authorities for legal action.
