DHO Capital organizes a special free medical camp for the diagnosis and treatment of pollen allergy

ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th March, 2026) The District Health Office of Islamabad organized a special free medical camp at G-6 Apara Community Center for diagnosis and treatment of pollen allergy, with the aim of sensitizing citizens about timely diagnosis, free medical facilities and preventive measures related to pollen allergy.

In the camp, allergy tests, free medications and medical guidance were provided to citizens under the supervision of expert doctors and trained medical staff so that they could recognize the symptoms of pollen allergy in a timely manner and take appropriate preventive measures. During the camp, more than 700 citizens were examined and provided with the necessary medical facilities.

On this occasion, citizens were also informed about the common symptoms of pollen allergy, such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and difficulty breathing.

Experts advised citizens to avoid unnecessary going out during the pollen season, use masks, protect their eyes, and consult a doctor immediately if symptoms appear.

Islamabad District Health Officer Dr. Syeda Rashida Batool said that the Islamabad District Health Office is constantly taking steps to increase public awareness about seasonal allergies and provide high-quality health facilities to citizens so that citizens can take better care of their health through timely diagnosis and preventive measures.

She added that citizens should take precautionary measures during the pollen season and visit the nearest health center if any allergy symptoms appear.

The citizens expressed their appreciation for the free medical facilities and awareness measures provided by the Islamabad District Health Office, and thanked the National Ministry of Health and the Islamabad District Health Office.
