Sargodha (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th March, 2026) Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali and Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza Chowdhury on Wednesday visited Mohammedi Colony Water Supply Scheme and Bagh Corporation Rainwater Tank Project to review the progress and ensure timely completion.
During the visit to Mohammedi Colony, WASA Director General, Abu Bakar Imran, briefed the officials that water is currently being supplied to different parts of the city through the existing system, a bulletin issued here said.
He added that the completion of the new water supply scheme of the Public Health Engineering Department will provide clean drinking water facilities to the people.
He informed that a major part of the project has already been completed and several tube wells have been commissioned.
The commissioner inspected the storage tanks and checked the water quality at the site. He directed that the new water supply scheme must be completed by April 10 to ensure that citizens are not interrupted by clean drinking water.
Later, the commissioner and his deputy visited Bagh Corporation, where a rainwater storage project is being implemented with special funding from the Punjab Chief Minister.
