Closing of the Islamic Calligraphy Exhibition at the Sindh Museum

Hyderabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14 March 2026) On the instructions of Sindh Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, an exhibition of Islamic calligraphy was organized at the Zafar Kazmi Arts and Crafts Gallery of the Sindh Museum, Hyderabad.

The exhibition included the presentation of modern art pieces by students, and the spiritual beauty of Islamic art and the great heritage of Islamic calligraphy was also highlighted.

In recognition of this effort, the purpose of the exhibition was to enlighten students, teachers and the general public about the timeless art of Islamic calligraphy.

On the last day of the exhibition today, March 14, 2026, the Director of the Sindh Museum HyderabadZulfiqar Ali Banhour distributed certificates to the best calligraphers and praised their artistic skills.

On this occasion, he said that Islamic calligraphy is an important part of our civilizational and cultural identity, and such programs play an important role in linking the younger generation to their cultural traditions.
