Dera Ismail Khan (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11 March, 2026) Under the community-friendly initiatives launched by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the Citizen Facilitation Center has been officially established in the district. The project was established under the guidance of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with the Directorate of Information Technology (IT).
According to officials, the center provides nearly 30 different services to citizens, including birth and death certificates, marriage and divorce certificates, new water connections, commercial licenses, approval of building plans, encroachment-related matters, complaints related to garbage and sewage cleaning, land records, vehicle records, file verification and registration, weapons licensing, residence certificates, ownership transfer, border demarcation, and issuance of land registry copies. NADRA and many other public services are also available at the center.
With the establishment of this facility, citizens will no longer need to visit multiple offices and will be able to obtain services quickly and easily in one place.
In this regard, Facilities Management Officer Ammar Yasir met with Regional Information Officer Dr. Sanaullah at the Regional Information Office in Dera Ismail Khan.
During the meeting, effective advertising and awareness of the services available at the center were discussed.
The need to provide maximum information to the public was emphasized so that citizens can fully benefit from this modern facility.
On this occasion, Regional Information Officer Dr. Sanaullah assured full cooperation from the Information Department to ensure effective dissemination of information to the people.
He said that such centers established by the government provide convenience and transparency and save valuable time for citizens, and therefore proper publicity for them is very important.
Ammar Yasser said during his briefing on this occasion that the main goal of establishing the center is to provide modern and rapid government services to the public so that citizens’ issues are resolved quickly.
He added that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has given priority to public service and is taking various reform measures in various sectors to provide maximum facilities to the people.
He also said that these centers not only enhance transparency in the government system, but also enhance trust between the public and government institutions.
The people welcomed the initiative and expressed their hope that the establishment of the center would make the process of obtaining government services easier and faster.
Officials added that more services will be included in the center in the future so that citizens can access a greater number of facilities in one place.
