CDA chief visits hospital, security and home checkpoints in Edhi on Eid

ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21 March 2026) Chairman of the Community Development Authority and Chief Commissioner of Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa visited the Capital Hospital, sanitation workers, Edhi’s house and security checkpoints on Eid Al-Fitr. Federalism The capital, where he distributed gifts and praised the services of medical teams, civilian workers, and police personnel.

In the Capital Hospital, he visited the children’s ward, inquired about the patients’ health, and met with the doctors, children, and their parents.

He directed the administration to provide the best possible treatment and facilities for children admitted to the hospital, and then distributed Eid gifts and treats among them.

He also met sanitation workers involved in cleaning operations across Islamabad, praised their services and distributed gifts among them.

He said that the city looks clean and beautiful on Eid because of their hard work and dedication.

Separately, Randhawa, accompanied by CDA and district administration officials, visited Edhi Home Islamabad, where he met orphaned children, indigent residents, persons with disabilities and the elderly.

He distributed Eidi and gifts, and said that caring for vulnerable groups in society is a noble mission.

He also described the services of Edhi Home as praiseworthy and urged people to remember orphans and underprivileged citizens in the joy of Eid.

Later, he visited security checkpoints in the capital and met with police officers and personnel on duty.

He praised their services, urged them to continue discharging their responsibilities vigilantly, and said ensuring effective security arrangements and provision of facilities to citizens remained a top priority.
