Rawalpindi March 22, 2026 Deputy Commissioner Dr. Hasan Waqar Cheema and Tahira Aurangzeb visited Holy Family Hospital on Sunday to share Eid al-Fitr celebrations with patients and medical staff.
During the visit, they inspected the various departments and inquired about the patients’ health, expressing their best wishes for a speedy recovery.
They distributed sweets and Eid gifts to doctors, nurses and other staff on duty, in appreciation of their dedication to serving patients during this festive occasion.
Dr Hassan Waqar Cheema said that sharing Eid happiness with patients and frontline workers was a collective responsibility and recognized their services during difficult times.
Tahira Aurangzeb said that the medical staff was a valuable asset to the nation and continued to serve the public with commitment.
On a separate visit, the duo visited the Child Protection and Welfare Office where they celebrated Eid with the children.
They cut the cake with the children and distributed sweets, which brought a smile among them.
Dr. Hassan Waqar Cheema said that the true message of Eid is to share happiness, especially with children who deserve special care and attention.
Tahira Aurangzeb said such institutions played a vital role in society by ensuring proper care and upbringing of children, adding that the government would continue efforts for their welfare.
